I have drove this vehicle almost 240 miles without any trouble and it will get almost 34 MPG on the highway. This would be a great starter car for a teenager or for anybody that wants to save money on high fuel cost. The last owner of this little truck had owned it for almost 2 years before trading it at a new chevrolet dealer whee i had purchased it. I have drove this truck almost 185 miles without any trouble. This 1957 chevy 3100 step-side pick-up has the 5. 7 liter 350ci v-8 engine and a 350 turbo 3-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, cold air conditioning and a dual brand am-fm-cd stereo. I was told that this truck sits on a 1983 model 4x4 running gear with 3. 08 gear ratio and who ever mounted this truck and running gear together did a really good job. The engine runs good and it has good power and also runs free at highway speeds. The engine has a performer eps aluminum intake with a 600cfi ederbrock carburetor and a chrome ederbrock air cleaner. This truck also has headers with dual pipes and bullit mufflers that sound great. The truck is sitting on the stock 15x6 steel wheels with a set of gm 4x4 rally caps and a matching set of 30/9. 50r15 white letter b. Goodrich all-terrain radial tires with about 60% tread on them. This truck was from northern mississippi and is as solid as a rock without any rust. It is an older paint job and is a little faded but still looks great with age.
